In the present work we assessed diffexences in interactions of invasiveand noninvasive strains of Neisseria meningitidis with thre diffexentcell lines. Invasive strains displayed highex adhexence to epithelialcells, whexeas noninvasive strain were more effectively phagocyted bymonocytes and macrophages, which reflects the higher pathogenic potentialof invasive bacteria.
