Optimum conditions for the determination of type I, II and IIIiodothyronine deiodinase activities in microsomal fraction ofdifferent rat and human tissues were eleborated. They incluedthe concentrations of substates and thiol cofactor, the amount of totalprotein and enzyme concentration in the incubation mixture, andappropriate incubation times.
