It has been shown for the first time that the inner mitochondrial membranein human glioma cells contains a calcium-dependent K channel of the BK-typeIt was 295 +18pS channel. Its open probability was decreased by charybdo-toxin concentration and voltage dependently (EC 50 = 1,4 uM).
