Text je recenzí práce Hanse Schleiera o německém historickém myšlení na konci 19. století. Pojednává o Schleierově interpretaci krize historismu a možností soudobé historiografie, které otevřely kulturní dějiny, etnologie, sociologie, psychologie a další disciplíny v 90. letech 19. století.

The text reviews the study written by Hans Schleier about the German historical thinking at the end of the 19th century. It deals with Schleiers interpretation of the crisis of historicism and with his interpretation of the disciplines in about the 1890s.
