The evaluation of the electrostatic interaction energy among disclinations forming arrays in finite samples of ferroelectric chiral smectic C liquid crystals. The electrostatic interaction energy is of the order of the elastic interaction energy of dislocations what influences the equilibrium of disclination arrays in the sample.
