Magnetization of interstitial (UFe10Si2Cx) and substitution (U1-xRxFe10Si2, R=Nd, Er) solid solution based on UFe10Si2 has been studied as a function of magnetic field and temperature on aligned powders. The results point to the considerable contribution of the U sublattice to the magnetic anisotropy.
