    The future of communication and information processing technologies depends on how we can integrate nanometer and submicrometer structures into a nanodevice. Various attempts have been made toward this goal. For electron transport along metallic wire, the surface electron transport on th Si(111)-Ag has been measured by using probes with a 10microm gap distance, which shows a fairly good surface conductivity.
