The frequency of micronucleated polychromatic erythrocytes (MNPCEs) in mouse bone marrow was assessed after administration of dipyridamole and/or adenosine monophosphate to irradiated or nonirradiated mice. In nonirradiated mice the administration of drugs increased the frequency of MNPCEs significantly, in irradiated mice decreased radiation induced MNPCEs.
