We examine an eruptive flare which occurred on May 2, 1998 using radio observation in the 40 MHz - 4.5 GHz frequency range and Yohkoh soft X-ray images and spectroscopic data. The analysis of this data provides useful information on processes occurring during the inmpulsive phase of the flare.
