Ondřejovská a potsdamská fotoelektricá měření ukazují, že velktorové rychlostní pole skvrny vytváří vějíř odpovídající vytékání hmoty v oblasti vnější umbry a vnitní penumbry a vytékání hmoty pod povrch v oblasti vnější penumbry a blízké okolní fotosféry.

Ondrejov and Potsdam photoelectric measurements demonstrate that the sunspot vector velocity fields form a fan corresponding to a mass outflow in the region of the outer umbra and inner penumbra and an inflow of matter under the surface in the region of the outer penumbra and in the close surroundings of the photosphere.
