The goal of our project is to obtain new knowledge about the fertilization strategy between chondrosteans and teleosteans fish and to develop a sensitive method for the assessment. We are interested in studying the sperm surface proteins of Cyprinus carpio (teleostean fish) and Acipenser baerii (chondrostean fish). Monoclonal antibodies against sperm proteins are used as useful tools for the study of these proteins

Cílem našeho projektu je získat nové poznatky o oplodňovací strategii u chrupavčitýcy a kostnatých ryb. Zabýváme se studiem povrchových proteinů spermií Cyprinus carpio (kostnatá ryba) a Acipenser baerii (chrupavčitá ryba). Monoklonální protilátky proti proteinům spermií jsou využívány jako užitečné nástroje pro stuidum těchto proteinů
