Sbírka kreseb z archivních fondů Etnologického ústavu AV ČR je samostatnou doménou čítající přes 1800 kreseb i měřičské dokumentace. Scheybalovy dokumentační kresby v této sbírce převyšují počet sedmi set. Právě tato autorská dokumentace vědecké kresby dokumentuje i samotnou, převážně terénní činnost pražského pracoviště. Současně je výběr kreseb zajímavý pro regionální studium.

The collection of ethnographic drawings from the archive funds of the Institute of Ethnology AS CR is one of the main large collection with over 1800 pieces. Josef V. Scheybal sciences drawings are represent by number of 700 pieces. These specialists drawings guide ethnographic terrain research of Institue of Ethnology in Prague during the period of the 60th-70th year of the 20 century.
