The experimental microbial challenge of Eisenia fetida earthworms results in up-regulation of a pattern recognition receptor-CCF. Expression of antibacterial factor fetidin is not affected.

Experimentálně navozená mikrobiální infekce žížal Eisenia fetida má za následek zvýšení exprese receptoru pro rozpoznávací vzory CCF. Exprese antibakteriálního faktoru fetidinu nebyla ovlivněna.
