Plochy nespojitosti jako pukliny, trhliny, mikroporušení a další diskontinuity ovlivňují svou přítomností v horninovém masivu velmi významně jeho vlastnosti. Sada ploch nespojitosti byla testována pomocí počítačové tomografie (CT). CT se ukázala být velmi dobrou metodou pro vizualizaci makroporušení.

The set of different discontinuities was tested by computer tomography (CT) to judge the possibility of utilisation of this method for visualisation of discontinuities in geomechanics. CT displays very good open cracks.
