UCoAl is an itinerant 5f-electron metamagnet with a strong uniaxial anisotropy. We studied the magnetization of the UCo1-xTx Al(T=Fe,Ni) single crystals as a function of magnetic field (0-9T), temperature (1.5-40K) and external pressure (0-1.2GPa). The Ni substitution for Co yields an increase of the critical field metamagnetism. Contrary, just 2% substitution of Fe for Co in UCoAl stabilizes ferromagnetism, while the reentrant metamagnetism is observed under pressure.
UCoAl je itinerantní 5f-elektronový metamagnet se silnou jednoosou anisotropií. Studovali jsme magnetizaci monokrystalů UCo1-xTxAl (T=Fe,Ni) jako funkci magnetického pole (0-9 T), teploty (1.5-40 K) a vnějšího tlaku (0-1.2 GPa). Substitucí Co niklem vzrůstá metamagnetické kritické pole. Naopak 2% substituce Fe stabilizuje feromagnetizmus UCoAl a působením tlaku se metamagnetizmus vrací.
