The paper presents a review of Czech research into new methods of restoration, strengthening and consolidation of historic structures. It starts with examples from the period after the WWII when many monuments were seriously damaged. Then industrial development caused specific interventions, namely transfer of monuments or repair damages from quarries operation. The contemporary techniques are represented by post-tensioning, grouting, introduction of new materials (resins, micro-nails, polymer nets, reinforced plastics, foams, etc.), and new approaches based on use of traditional technologies and structural restoration

Článek uvádí přehled českého výzkumu nových metod restaurování, zesilování a kosolidace historických konstrukcí. Nejprve uvádí příklady z období po druhé světové válce, kdy bylo třeba zachránit mnohé porušené památky. Pokračuje ukázkami z doby intenzivního rozvoje těžebního průmyslu a energetiky, vyvolávajícího specifické zásahy, zejména transfery památek a opravy škod, způsobených průmyslovými otřesy. Současné techniky jsou representovány předpínáním, injektážemi, zaváděním nových materiálů (pryskyřic, mikro hřebů, polymerních sítí, vyztužených plastů a pěn), a novými přístupy, preferujícími tradiční technologie a restaurování konstrukcí
