V rámci týdne vědy AV ČR vznikla myšlenka seznámit podrobněji i čtenáře Sdělovací techniky s prací Ústavu radiotechniky a elektroniky AV ČR /ÚRE/, který dlouhodobě tvořil jeden z pilířů základního výzkumu československé a později i české elektroniky.

During the "Week of science of Academy of Science of the Czech Republic" we decided to acquaint our reader with work of Institute of Radio Engineering and Electronics AS CR /IREE/, which was for a long years one of the base for fundamental research of Czechoslovak and after also for Czech electronic.
