Continuous and discontinuous gold layers sputtered on polyethyleneterephthalate were characterized using atomic force microscopy (AFM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and by reflection of microwave radiation. Both the AFM and SEM techniques confirmed that in the course of the gold deposition the initially small gold clusters grow and finally associate in a continuous layer.
Kontinuální a diskontinuální zlaté vrstvy naprášené na polyethylentereftalátu byly charakterizovány pomocí mikroskopie atomových sil (AFM) , rastrovací elektronové mikroskopie (SEM) a odrazem mikrovlnného záření. AFM a SEM experimenty potvrdily, že v průběhu depozice původně malé shluky zlata postupně rostou, finálně pak vytvářejí souvislou vrstvu.
