This paper describes some possible solutions on how to use standard statistical procedures for finding overlapping binary factors. The application of factor analysis as a base for further investigation and interpretration of the factor loading matrix by means of fuzzy cluster analysis is suggested. Some experiments were performed with using statistical packages STATISTICA and S-PLUS.

V tomto příspěvku jsou ukázána některá možná řešení možného použití standardních statistických procedur pro nalezení překrývajících se binárních faktorů. Autoři navrhují použití faktorové analýzy jako základu pro další zkoumání a interpretaci matice faktorových zátěží prostředky fuzzy klastrové analýzy. K experimentálnímu ověření tohoto postupu byly provedeny výpočty s pomocí statistických balíků STATISTICA a S-PLUS.
