The effect of Pt and Ru addition to a Mo/Al2O3 catalyst on HDS of thiophene and HYD of cyclohexene was studied. Over PtMo system, the synergy was observed in HDS (about 2). The synergy over RuMo catalyst was about 6 in HDS and about 4 in the HYD.
