V ÚFA AV ČR byla v posledních letech řešena čtyři základní témata v oblasti usazených srážek: i) Porovnání koncentrací polutantů v různě průmyslově zatížených oblastech; ii) Porovnání koncentrací polutantů v mlze a námraze; iii) Závislost mezi fyzikálními a chemickými charakteristikami ve vzorcích vody z mlh a nízké oblačnosti; iv) Závislost koncentrací polutantů na směru jejich přenosu. Příspěvek stručně uvádí výzkumné aktivity a některé výsledky dosažené v ÚFA AV ČR.

Four basic topics, related to the pollution detected in deposited precipitation, were investigated in the IAP in the last years: i) Comparison of pollutant concentrations between differently polluted regions; ii) Comparison of pollutant concentrations between fog and rime water; iii) The relationship between the chemical and physical properties of water samples in fog and low clouds; iv) The dependence of pollutant concentrations on their transfer direction. This contribution briefly describes the activities of the research and presents some results obtained in the IAP.
