Dentinová senzitivita je běžnou stížností pacienta ve stomatologických ordinacích. Je způsobena otevřením dentinových tubulů po ztrátě skloviny nebo cementu či při odhalení dentinu v oblasti cementosklovinné hranice. Metodou s předpokládaným dlouhodobějším účinkem je zatavení odhalených dentinových tubulů na povrchu zubu pomocí CO 2 laseru nebo ND:YAG laseru.

Dentine senzitivity is a common complaint of pacients in dental offices. They are caused by the opening of dentine tubules. This may be due to enamel or cementum loss or due to the dentine exposure in the area of cementum-enamel junction. A procedure with long-lasting effect seems to be the closure of the exposed dental tubules on the teeth surface by means of CO 2 or ND:YAD laser.
