Ethylglucuronide, a metabolite of ethanol, is a marker of recent alcohol consumption. The analysis of ethylglucuronide in human serum was investigated via injection of neat or diluted serum and solute visualisation by indirect on-column UV absorbance detection. The chosen approach is based on transient isotachophoresis solute staking in presence of high amount of chloride that balances out effects of other macrocomponents of like charge that act against isotachophoretic stacking. Data obtained with serum of healthy individuals and samples of alcohol abusers were presented
Etylglukuronid, metabolit etanolu, je marker požití alkoholu. Analýza etylglukuronidu v lidském séru byla zkoumána pomocí nástřiku čistého nebo zředěného séra a vizualizací solutu nepřímou on-column UV absorbanční detekcí. Vybraný přístup je založen na "stacking" efektu solutu v přechodné izotachoforéze v přítomnosti vysokého množství chloridu, který vyvažuje efekty jiných stejně nabitých makrokomponent, které působí proti isotachoforetickému "stackingu". Byly prezentovány údaje získané ze séra zdravých jedinců a ze vzorků konzumentů alkoholu
