Electrophoretic and photometric experiments indicate that monovalent anions CAPSO and MOPS spontaneously aggregate. Cations Tris, Bis-Tris, and Bis-Tris propane exhibit ion pairing with synthetic cluster boron anions, with fused silica and with inorganic and organic anions. Limited hydrophilicity at least one of interacting species appears to be the most probable cause of observed intermolecular interactions of biological buffers
Elektroforetické a fotometrické experimenty ukazují, že monovalentní anionty CAPSO a MOPS spontánně agregují. Kationty Tris, Bis-Tris a Bis-Tris propanu tvoří iontové páry se syntetickými klastrovými anionty boru s taveným křemenem a s anorganickými i organickými anionty. Nejpravděpodobnější příčinou pozorovaných intermolekulárních interakcí biologických pufrů je omezená hydrofilita alespoň jedné z interagujících složek
