    In this paper we examine influenced of N-glycosylation of glutamate carboxypeptidase II (GCPII, E.C.xxxx) on its hydrolytic activity. N-glycosylation was shown to be indispensable for GCPII carboxypeptidase activity and, additionally, site-directed mutagenesis of the individual N-glycosylation sequons identified contribution of each N-glycosylation site to this phenomenon

    V této publikaci jsme prozkoumali vliv N-glykosylačních míst na glutamátkarboxypeptidase II (GCPII) pro její proteolytickou aktivitu. N-glykosylace se ukázala být nezbytná pro karboxypeptidasovou aktivitu, navíc jsme pomocí bodové mutagenese jednotlivých N-glykosylačních míst identifikovali jejich příspěvek k tomuto fenoménu
