    We have studied feasibility to affect degradation behavior of biodegradable polyesters PLA and PCL by introduction of the silicate filler in the polymer matric. Layered silicates are supposed to affect mechanical properties of the polyester matrix as well as diffusion and catalytic process during the hydrolytic degradation.

    Silikátové plnivo bylo přidáno k polymerní matrici za účelem ovlivnění degradačního chování biodegradovatelných polyesterů PLA a PCL. Vrstevnaté silikáty ovlivňují mechanické vlastnosti polyesterové matrice i difuzní a katalytické procesy během hydrolytické degradace.
