Peptides from the pyrokinin/PBAN family and some structurally related compounds identified in various arthropods were tested for acceleration of puparial contraction in fleshfly larvae. All peptides that accelerated pupariation showed very similar patterns of stimulation of muscular and cuticular activity

Peptidy z rodiny pyrokininů/PBAN a některé strukturálně příbuzné látky identifikované z různých členovců byly testovány na jejich účinky na urychlení kontrakce puparia u larev masařky. Všechny peptidy, které urychlily pupariaci vykazovaly velmi podobné stimulační vzorce na svalovou a kutikulární aktivitu
