We compared physiological properties (growth profile, level of stress defence mechanisms, expression of metabolic genes etc.) of parental and mutant strain populations. We found that PDR plasma membrane extrusion system could be essential for proper development of yeast population as the absence of Pdr5p and Snq2p transporters significantly influences the whole population physiology
Porovnali jsme fyziologické vlastnost (růstové vlastnosti, úroveň obrany proti stresu, expresi vybraných metabolických genů a pod.) populací mutantních kmenů s kmenem rodičovským. Zjistili jsme, že membránový exportní systém PDR je asi nezbytný pro správný vývoj populace kvasinek, neboť absence transportérů Pdr5p and Snq2p výrazně ovlivní fyziologii celé populace
