Síť GEONAS se skládá ze 17 permanentních geodynamických observatoří, z nichž 5 je součástí permanentní sítě EUREF. Toto množství stanic ležících na území ČR a zaznamenávajících signály systémů NAVSTAR i GLONASS je výhodné pro studium efektivity současného zpracování dat z obou GPS systémů a zvýšení spolehlivosti v určení polohy stanoviště.

The GEONAS network consists of seventeen permanent geodynamic observatories; five of them are included in the EUREF permanent network. These stations located over the area of the CR and which observe both NAVSTAR and GLONASS signals provides is convenient tool for simultaneous data processing of both GPS phase measurements to increase a reliability of the site position determination.
