Regeneration of osteochondral defects using novel composite hyaluronate-type I collagen-fibrin scaffold seeded with autologous chondrocytes was studied. Six months after the implantation, the hyaline cartilage and fibrocartilage were formed in the defects which proved the scaffold application for regeneration of cartilage defects.
Byla hodnocena regenerace osteochondrálních defektů pomocí nové kompozitní matrice složené z hyaluronanu sodného, kolagenu typu I a fibrinu a osazené autologními chondrocyty. Šest měsíců po implantaci se v defektech vytvořila hyalinní a fibrózní chrupavka, což dokazuje potenciální využití scaffoldu v terapii chrupavkových defektů.
