Survey is provided as regards applications of the low energy scanning electron microscopy in several branches of materials science. Main contrast mechanisms are characterized and results of demonstration experiments presented including those of the multichannel signal detection.

Je předložen přehled aplikací nízkoenergiové rastrovací elektronové mikroskopie v několika oblastech materiálových věd. Jsou charakterizovány hlavní kontrastní mechanismy a prezentovány výsledky demonstračních experimentů včetně výsledků získaných mnohakanálovou detekcí signálu.
