We determined the expression, distribution and interaction of beta-III and gamma-tubulins in astrocytic gliomas and T98G glioblastoma cell line. In contrast with astrocytes, on T98G cells we found striking amount of gamma-tubulin in soluble cytoplasmic pool. Whereas both tubulins formed complexes in cytoplasm, beta-III did not associate with insoluble gamma-tubulin aggregates.

Byla porovnána distribuce, exprese a interakce beta-III a gama-tubulinu u astrocytů a lidské glioblastomové linie T98G. U T98G buněk byla pozorována vysoká exprese gama-tubulinu v cytoplazmě, kde vytváří komplexy s beta-III-tubulinem. Toto atypické chování obou proteinů odráží proces transformace gliových buněk.
