Příspěvek se věnuje novým přístupům ke zpracování dat získaných Testem sémantického výběru, založeným na současných psychometrických postupech. Na příkladech výsledků analýz empirických dat jsou představeny a srovnány postupy optimálního škálování a hierarchické shlukové analýzy distancí získaných na základě principů Raschových modelů. Tyto analýzy naznačují značnou konvergenci používaných postupů. Výsledky ukazují, že systematická aplikace těchto metod na analýzu dat Testu sémantického výběru, nebo případně dalších podobných metod, může zvyšovat jejich použitelnost v diagnostice a výzkumu.

The paper deals with new approaches to the analysis of data obtained by means of the Semantic Selection Test that are based on contemporary psychometric methods. With the examples of the results of analyses the techniques of optimal scaling, and hierarchical cluster analysis of the distances obtained by based on principles of the Rasch model. These analyses imply to considerable convergence of the used methods. The results show that systematic application of these methods in the analysis of the Semantic Selection Test data or possibly data from other similar methods could increase their applicability in the diagnostics and research.
