In this study we show that adaptor protein NTAL regulates mast cell activation through multiple steps and different mechanisms. At early stages NTAL interferes with tyrosine phosphorylation of several substrates and formation of signaling assemblies, whereas at later stages it regulates the activity of calcium channels through a distinct mechanism independent of enhanced tyrosine phosphorylation of NTAL.
V této studii ukazujeme, že adaptorový protein NTAL reguluje aktivaci žírných buněk v řadě kroků a různými mechanismy. V časných stadiích NTAL ovlivňuje fosforylací řady substrátů a tvorbu signálních komplexů, zatímco v pozdějších etapách reguluje aktivity vápenatých kanálů pomocí odlišných mechanismů nezávislých na zvýšené fosforylaci NTALu.
