To examine the potential relationship between air pollution and male reproduction health young men from Northern Bohemia were surveyed and evaluated their semen quality. The impact of air pollution on pregnancy outcome was also studied in a group of pregnant women and their infants from the same region. Both studies provide evidence that air pollution may be detrimental to reproductive health.

Při sledování možného vztahu mezi znečištěným ovzduším a reprodukční schopností mužů byla vyšetřena skupina mladých mužů ze Severních Čech a hodnocena kvalita jejich semene. Vliv znečištění ovzduší na výsledky těhotenství byl také studován u skupiny žen a jejich dětí ze stejné oblasti. Obě studie prokazují možný škodlivý vliv znečištění ovzduší na reprodukci.
