The prezent study was aimed at evaluating the incidence of apoptotic cells in the inner ear of 20-24 –month old F344 rats and to correlate it with cochlear function usin otoacoustic emission. The accumulation of apoptotic cells resulted in the impairment of hair cell function.
Cílem studie bylo posouzení apoptotických změn v hlemýždi u 20-24 měsíců starých F344 potkanů a jejich korelace s funkčními změnami měřenými pomocí otoakustických emisí. Akumulace apoptotických buněk vedla k poruše funkce vnějších vláskových buněk.
