The EXPAH project evaluated the hypothesis that polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) are a major source of genotoxic activities of organic mixtures associated with air pollution. The characteristics of the three studied population (from Prague, Košice and Sofia) are given together with their personal exposure to carcinogenic PAHs as well as their life style/diet.
