    The optical conductivity of charge carriers coupled to quantum phonons is studied in the framework of the one-dimensional spinless Holstein model.The analytical results are in surprisingly good agreement with exact data, and exhibit the characteristic polaronic excitations observed in experiments on manganites.

    Opticka vodivost nositelu naboje bez spinu, ktere jsou v interakci s kvantovymi fonony, je studovana v ramci jednodimensionalniho Holsteinova modelu. Analyticke vysledky jsou v prekvapive dobre shode s presnymi numerickymi daty a s charakteristickymi polaronovymi excitacemi, jez se pozoruji v experimentech na amngamitech
