Data concerning solar energetic events, published in 1996-2004 by the USAF/NOAA in the form of daily reports, have been collected. The analysis of the particular event types (XRA LDE, XRA RSP II, XRA RSP IV, and XRA RSP II/IV) indicated that the degree of their geoeffectiveness depends on their size and on their solar disc location.
