Analyzing the 2006 lower chamber parliamentary elections in the Czech republic the chapter focuses on both the evaluation of election results with regard to representation of men and women among the candidates and elected MPs, and the analysis of the potential consequences of proposed changes to the electoral system. The last part of the chapter is them dedicated to Shift in the attitudes of the Czech public to female political representation.

Kapitola se pomocí analýzy voleb do dolní sněmovny Parlamentu ČR v roce 2006 zaměřuje na vyhodnocení výsledků těchto voleb s ohledem na zastoupení mužů a žen mezi kandidáty a zvolenými poslanci a analýzou potenciálních důsledků navrhovaných změn volebního systému. Poslední část kapitoly je poté věnována posunu postojů české veřejnosti vůči zastoupení žen v politice.
