Úvod ke sborníku podává stručnou informaci o konferenci pořádané v listopadu 2005 FHS UK a shrnuje obsah jednotlivých příspěvků. První část studií se týká teoretické stránky historické antropologie, druhá rozebírá další koncepty diskutované v posledních desetiletích v souvislosti s historickými vědami.

The introduction informs briefly on the colloquium that took place in November 2005 at FHS UK and resumes the content of each paper. The first section of proceedings is dealing with historical antropology and theory of historical writing, the second one concentrates on other conceptual frameworks discussed in recent historiography.
