The pseudosimilarity concept makes it possible to estimate end-effects in rotational viscometry without using more-parameter models of viscosity function but, on the other hand, it introduces some error. Actual extent of the deviations for an ideal Couette flow between coaxial cylinders is studied for common 2- and 3- parameter models of viscosity function.
