Tato zpráva představuje první lekci ze série lekcí, zabývajících se procesorem PicoBlaze. Tato první lekce seznámí uživatele s procesorem PicoBlaze a s assemblerem, kompilátorem a simulátorem tohoto procesoru. Na jednoduchém příkladu je pak vysvětlena obsluha přerušení v asembleru a v jazyce C.

This application note is the first lesson of the course that deals with PicoBlaze processor. The Xilinx PicoBlaze processor, assembler, C compiler and the simulator are introduced in this lesson. The use of these tools is described on the simple example. This example shows the interrupt handling in both assembler and C language.
