Study of the antioxidative action of amphiphilic mono- and bis-N-oxides against peroxyl radicals generated by the azo-compound AAPH in SOD-deleted cells of S. cerevisiae showed that both mono- and bis-N-oxides of propylamido-alkanes stimulated the growth of delta SOD mutants, and protected yeast from superoxide and the peroxyl radical. Differences in their activity are due to different incorporation into the plasma membrane
Studium antioxidační působení amfifilních mono- and bis-N-oxidů proti peroxylovým radikálů generovaných azo-sloučeninou AAPH v SOD-defektních buněk S. cerevisiae ukázalo, že mono- i bis-N-oxidy propylamido-alkánů stimulují růst těchto mutantů a chrání kvasinky před superoxidovými a peroxylovými radikály. Rozdíly v jejich aktivitě jsou dány různou inkorporací do plasmatické membrány
