Cílem studie bylo sledovat vliv probiotické bakterie Lactobacillus rhamnosus na aktivaci Toll like receptorů (TLR) a přítomnosti Panethových buněk ve střevě původně bezmikrobních imunodeficitních SCID myší. Zjistili jsme, že tato probiotická bakterie výrazně stumulovala počet Panethových buněk a expresi TLR
