New method of measurement of heterogeneous nuclei in superheated steam was tested. It consists in direct sampling of superheated steam, its immediate diluting with abundance of dry particle-free nitrogen, and subsequent cooling and expanding down to ambient conditions. The sample is then analysed by standard instrumentation used in aerosol research. As a result, number concentration and/or particle number distribution of heterogeneous nuclei is obtained.

Byla testována nová metoda měření heterogenních jader v přesycené páře. Spočívá v přímém vzorkování přehřáté páry, jejím okamžitém naředění suchým filtrovaným dusíkem a následným ochlazením a expanzí na okolní podmínky. Poté je vzorek analyzován standardními přístroji používanými ve výzkumu aerosolů. Výsledkem je početní koncentrace a/nebo distribuce velikosti heterogenních jader v přehřáté páře.
