The gradual movement towards the cross-cultural and cross-linguistic evaluation of academic discourse triggered by the Linguistic Turn in the social sciences was accompanied by the development of the social view on scientific discourse in functional linguistics. Czech data for humanities are provided: the analysis offers insight into the we perspective which is heavily applied in Czech academic texts and the less frequent I perspective is examined.

Normy autorské reprezentace ve vědeckém textu se liší v jednotlivých jazycích, a také v jednotlivých vědních disciplinách. V českých vědeckých textech v humanitních oborech převládá perspektiva autorského plurálu nad perspektivou autorského singuláru.
