    Coelomic cytolytic factor (CCF) from the coelomic fluid of Eisenia fetida earthworms binds to fibroblast extracellular matrix. When the extracellular matrix is disrupted by coelomic fluid enzymes, CCF reaches the cell surface where it interacts with sodium ion channels that might result in osmotic imbalance and cell death
