    Eiseniapore, one of the hemolytic proteins from the coelomic fluid of Eisenia fetida earthworms, binds to sphingomyelin, hydrolysis of which is involved in apoptosis induction. The data suggest the parallel presence of pore-formation and apoptosis in the cytotoxicity
