Článek se zabývá vztahem pojmu člověk a pojmu osoba. Existují dva základní přístupy k tomuto tématu: inkluzivismus, podle kterého jsou osobami všichni lidé, a exkluzivismus, podle kterého jsou osobami pouze někteří. Článek rozebírá některé typy argumentace a ukazuje, jak důležitý je filosofický a etický základ našich intuitivně zastávaných názorů a přístupů.

The paper delas with the question of relationship between the concept of human being and the concept of person. There are two basic theories on this topic: inclusivist (all the human beings are persons) and exclusivist (only some human beings are persons). The paper analyses some important types of argumentation to show the importance of philosophical and ethical background of our intuitive approaches or opinions.
